The AlphaSorb® Dual-Sided Industrial Absorptive Sound Blanket, previously known as the AQFA-11 Silicone Coated Sound Blanket, is an advanced soundproofing material designed for high-temperature environments. Constructed with durable silicone-coated vinyl fiberglass cloth and quilted to 2-inch thick fiberglass batting, these blankets provide superior sound absorption with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.85. They can withstand temperatures ranging from -90ºF to 450ºF, making them ideal for machinery housings and other industrial applications.

These industrial sound blankets are resistant to oils, moisture, dust, and most chemicals, providing exceptional durability in tough environments. They come with grommets along the top edge and Velcro® along the vertical edges for easy installation, layering, and hanging. The sound blankets are commonly used as curtain panels in acoustical enclosures, room partitions, and wall coverings where high resistance to abuse is required.

Available in standard 4′ x 8′ panels, custom sizes and configurations are available upon request to meet specific project needs.
